How far in advance do you accept reservations?
eph KYOTO hotel accepts reservations up to 6 months in advance.
We accept reservations via our official website, telephone, and email - please feel free to contact our staff at any time should you have inquiries or questions regarding our accommodation.

How do I make a reservation?

What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy at eph KYOTO hotel is as follows:

Do you accept payments via QR code?
Unfortunately, no. We do not accept payments via QR code at this time.
However, payments are accepted via cash and credit card.
May I make a reservation on behalf of another guest?
Yes, we accept reservations made on behalf of another guest.
However, you must inform our staff of the following when making your reservation:
1) The main guest's Full Name, and
2) Contact Information (Email or Telephone).
Is tax included in the Accommodation Rates?
Yes. All rates include a 10% consumption tax (incl. sales tax, VAT, excise duty, etc.) and service fees.

I am travelling with a large group. Do you have rooms to accommodate larger groups?
Yes. eph KYOTO hotel is the perfect accommodation for groups. If you are interested in reserving several rooms, or making a group reservation, please contact our staff directly via telephone or email. We'll ensure that your reservation process is hassle-free.
I am traveling with children. Do you have rooms suitable for families?
Yes. eph KYOTO hotel is the ideal accommodation for families. We recommend reserving our connecting rooms, or rooms with kitchens.
In addition, we allow up to 2 children (5 years of age and younger) to stay for free when sharing a bed with an adult. Please contact our staff for more information.
Can more than the maximum number of guests stay in a room?
Due to the Japanese Fire Service Act issued by the Kyoto City government, we are unable to accept more than the maximum number of adult guests indicated under each room.

May I make changes to my reservation?
Yes. Please contact our staff directly if you would like to make any changes to your reservation.
Please note that changes in your reservation may result in a difference in your accommodation fee.

YOUR STAY

May we store our suitcases/luggage before our room check-in?
Yes. Stop by our front desk once your arrive in Kyoto, and we will store your luggage while you explore the city. Luggage storage is also available after your check-out time.
What time may we enter our room?

Room Check-out: ~11:00AM

Above are our standard check-in and check-out times at our accommodation. However, depending on your reserved room plan, we may offer early check-in and later check-out times. Please check your confirmation email for more details.
Can I check-out after 11:00AM?
Checking out of our accommodation past our normal check-out time of 11:00AM will result in an additional fee.

- Any check-out time between 11:00AM~2:00PM will result in an additional fee of 1,000 yen/per hour.
- Any check-out time after 2:00PM will result in a fee equivalent to another 1-night stay at eph KYOTO hotel.
What room amenities do you provide?
All eph KYOTO hotel guests will receive the following amenities:
Bathroom Amenities: toothbrush, hairbrush, razor, body towel, cotton set, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
Complimentary Drinks: Original Blend Drip Coffee, Water Bottle, Green Tea.

Do you provide pajamas and towels?
Yes. All guests will be provided with hand towels, body towels, and a yukata (Japanese-style pajama). If you need additional towels during your stay, please inform our front desk staff.
Is breakfast included?
For guests who would like to order breakfast during their stay, please make a reservation for our 'Breakfast-Included' plan, or contact our guest services team to add breakfast to your reservation.

Are pets allowed at eph KYOTO hotel?
While we love all animals, animals and pets are not allowed on the eph KYOTO hotel premises. We thank you for your kind understanding.
Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?
Yes. eph KYOTO hotel is wheelchair accessible. Please kindly inform our staff in advance, and the eph KYOTO hotel staff will be happy to assist with any inquiries or requests regarding our accommodation.
Do you have rooms with kitchens?
Yes. Our Deluxe rooms have an in-room kitchenette, which include kitchen appliances, cooking utensils, cutlery, and more. Do you allow for parties or events at eph KYOTO hotel?
Unfortunately, no. While we love celebrations, as eph KYOTO is located in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood, we ask all guests to respect the hotel surroundings and other hotel guests by refraining from holding parties or events at eph KYOTO.

eph KYOTO hotel (accommodation) is located near Kyoto Station - a short 3-minute walk (240m).
How do I get to eph KYOTO hotel?
Exit Kyoto Station from the Hachijo-East Exit for easy access to eph KYOTO. From there, we are located approximately a 3-minute (240m) walk from Kyoto Station.

If you will be arriving via taxi, the taxi driver will drop you off at Karasuma-dori Street. From there, eph KYOTO hotel is approximately a 1-minute walk (50m).

Do you have parking at eph KYOTO hotel?
eph KYOTO hotel does not have on-site hotel parking available.
However, there are a number of public coin-parking spaces surrounding the accommodation, all within a short walking distance. Please contact our staff prior to your arrival, and we will provide you with all of the information you will need.
