Is tax included in the Accommodation Rates?
Yes. All rates include a 10% consumption tax (incl. sales tax, VAT, excise duty, etc.) and service fees.

Yes. eph TAKAYAMA hotel offers a number of different room types to suit families or groups.
In addition, we allow up to 2 children (5 years of age and younger) to stay for free when sharing a bed with an adult. Please contact our staff for more information.
Can more than the maximum number of guests stay in a room?
Due to the Japanese Fire Service Act issued by the Takayama City government, we are unable to accept more than the maximum number of adult guests indicated under each room.

Checking out of our accommodation past our standard check-out time of 11:00AM will result in an additional fee.
- Any check-out time between 11:00AM~2:00PM will result in an additional fee of 1,000 yen/per hour.
- Any check-out time after 2:00PM will result in a fee equivalent to another 1-night stay at eph TAKAYAMA hotel.

Do you provide pajamas and towels?
Yes. All guests will be provided with hand towels, body towels, and a yukata (Japanese-style pajama). If you need additional towels during your stay, please inform our front desk staff.
